Early mornin’ grooves

Some early morning grooves, albeit shaky and slightly ‘rusty’, with some potential.

Beginner jazz drumming

Matt explains how to venture into jazz drumming basics.

Swing 6/8 rhythm

A basic swing 6/8 rhythm. Starts with H/H playing 123456. Bass is on 1. Snare is on 4. Then play bass on 1, 3 and 6.

Basic reggae beat

Here is a basic reggae rhythm. You can find this rhythm/pattern being used in the Grade 3 Rockschool book. The track is called Trenchtown.
